Product Features of HCM Hydraulic Motor

The HCM hydraulic motor is a new-type product independently developed by our company with design improvements based on Italian technology, integrating years of practical experience. Its main features are as follows:

There is no lateral force between the piston and the swing cylinder; the bottom of the piston is designed with hydrostatic balance; and torque is transmitted between the piston and the crankshaft via rolling bearings. All these design elements reduce friction losses during power transmission. Therefore, the HCM series hydraulic motor features high mechanical efficiency and a high starting torque (with a mechanical efficiency of over 0.92 during startup).

The flat port plate is simple and reliable, which enhances sealing performance—resulting in excellent low-speed stability and minimal leakage. A plastic piston ring is used to seal the gap between the piston and the swing cylinder, achieving zero leakage. Thus, the motor boasts high volumetric efficiency (up to 0.98).

The structural design reduces friction losses and improves sealing performance, ensuring excellent low-speed stability. The motor can operate stably at a working condition of 1 r/min and has a wide speed regulation range (with a speed adjustment ratio of up to 1000).

The piston and bearing sleeve are tightly attached via a snap ring with no clearance. As a result, this series of hydraulic motors can operate under pump working conditions; when the oil inlet is closed, the motor can run at high speed under free-wheel working conditions.

The HCM series hydraulic motor supports high operating pressure, with a maximum pressure of up to 45 MPa. It also features light weight, compact size, and high power density.

Owing to its simple structure, reasonable design, and adoption of bearings with high load-carrying capacity, the motor ensures reliable operation, long service life, and low noise. Its drive shaft can withstand radial loads, and the rotation direction is reversible.

Fault diagnosis is an intellectual activity requiring overall planning, as well as a complex mental task. It should be borne in mind that a problem with any single component inside a machine will affect the operation of the entire machinery. Therefore, simply understanding and grasping the situation cannot solve any problem.

Thus, before diagnosing and eliminating faults, it is necessary to connect the understood situation and inspection results with the fault to analyze and identify the conditions that caused the fault. Then, by using the professional knowledge usually mastered—such as mechanical systems, the structural principles of hydraulic motors, and the dynamic behavior of components—as well as the experience accumulated daily in judging whether the machine operation is normal, we should discard the inessential, conduct comprehensive reasoning, and carefully analyze the interdependencies of each problem. Only in this way can a correct diagnosis be finally made.

After an accurate fault diagnosis, attention should also be paid to the rationality of the entire maintenance process. For small hydraulic drive motors, unnecessary shutdowns and excessive or premature disassembly will cause certain losses. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the fault conditions and working environment to ensure that each maintenance work can solve the problem in the simplest and most thorough manner.
