Product Features of HCM Hydraulic Motor

The HCM hydraulic motor is a new-type product independently developed by our company with design improvements based on Italian technology, integrating years of practical experience. Its main features are as follows:

There is no lateral force between the piston and the swing cylinder; the bottom of the piston is designed with hydrostatic balance; and torque is transmitted between the piston and the crankshaft via rolling bearings. All these design elements reduce friction losses during power transmission. Therefore, the HCM series hydraulic motor features high mechanical efficiency and a high starting torque (with a mechanical efficiency of over 0.92 during startup).

The flat port plate is simple and reliable, which enhances sealing performance—resulting in excellent low-speed stability and minimal leakage. A plastic piston ring is used to seal the gap between the piston and the swing cylinder, achieving zero leakage. Thus, the motor boasts high volumetric efficiency (up to 0.98).

The structural design reduces friction losses and improves sealing performance, ensuring excellent low-speed stability. The motor can operate stably at a working condition of 1 r/min and has a wide speed regulation range (with a speed adjustment ratio of up to 1000).

The piston and bearing sleeve are tightly attached via a snap ring with no clearance. As a result, this series of hydraulic motors can operate under pump working conditions; when the oil inlet is closed, the motor can run at high speed under free-wheel working conditions.

The HCM series hydraulic motor supports high operating pressure, with a maximum pressure of up to 45 MPa. It also features light weight, compact size, and high power density.

Owing to its simple structure, reasonable design, and adoption of bearings with high load-carrying capacity, the motor ensures reliable operation, long service life, and low noise. Its drive shaft can withstand radial loads, and the rotation direction is reversible.

Valve Control System

The valve control system regulates the total flow rate by adjusting the opening degree of the valve's throttle orifice, thereby controlling the speed of the actuator. Due to the existence of throttling and overflow losses, its efficiency is generally low. Valve control systems are basically used in various industrial machinery and equipment.

Pump Control System

The pump control system achieves stepless speed control by changing the displacement of a variable displacement piston pump, or controls the total flow rate through the combined liquid supply of multiple variable pumps; meanwhile, the hydraulic motor brake realizes stepped speed control. Since there are no throttling and overflow losses, its efficiency is relatively high. It is mainly used in high-power hydraulic machinery such as pressure processing equipment and rubber-plastic machinery.

Actuator Control System Software

The actuator control system software controls the flow rate (and thus the speed of the hydraulic rotary motor) in one of the following ways: adjusting the displacement of the actuator's variable hydraulic motor, combining multiple fixed-displacement hydraulic motors for operation, or changing the effective area of the composite hydraulic cylinder. Similar to the pump control system, this type of system has high efficiency because there are no throttling and overflow losses. It is mainly used in hydraulic machinery such as mobile equipment and pressure processing equipment.
