Increasing the flow rate can certainly raise the rotational speed, but it will more or less affect the service life of the cycloidal hydraulic motor. However, there will be no issues as long as the operation remains within its maximum power range. If the oil pressure has reached the rated working pressure, further increasing the rotational speed will exceed the power range it can withstand—this will undoubtedly impact the service life of the cycloidal hydraulic motor. It is similar to forcing yourself to eat more than you can digest, which ends up straining and damaging your stomach.
Increasing the flow rate can only raise the rotational speed to a limited extent. For example, if you want to increase the speed from 500 rpm to 900 rpm (for planetary reducers), it is recommended to replace the motor with a different model. When the flow rate of the cycloidal hydraulic motor increases to a certain level, the rotational speed will not rise indefinitely. Instead, the internal oil pressure will increase, leading to greater internal leakage. This directly reduces efficiency and may even cause motor damage (as noted by reducer manufacturers).
